In 1997 with my first home purchase. I didn’t understand how serious it was, yet I knew I didn’t want to continue to rent and help someone else create wealth I could keep for myself. With my first home I was able to refinance and purchase my second home. This purchase was an eye opener. I had good credit, money and a family I wanted happy and us to live comfortable. I got a realtor and a loan officer and started my journey with my second property. It was a seller’s market and properties sold fast. I found my property made an offer and made it to closing. My HUD 1 stated one amount, yet had changed several times before closing. No one educated on the regulations or the numbers and I paid more during closing, using cash, because of my representation.
That situation made me want to know more about the process. I learned everything they wouldn’t tell me. I am not an accountant, nor a loan officer, I a trained licensed Realtor. I know the process from our meeting until you sign at closing. It is my job to make sure there are no areas of this process that are unclear and that you make the best decision from an educated stand point. As a seller and buyer you will be comforted knowing my motivation is your best interest, now and in the future.
